Vision Statement:
We envision a vibrant, sustainable future for communities, driven by dynamic and adaptable processes rooted in sustainable practices that empower every individual to thrive. Our focus is on single parents, displaced adults transitioning from foster care, and working-class individuals who struggle financially but don't qualify for assistance, ensuring they achieve their fullest potential.
Moreover, we passionately envision the end of the occupation of Palestine, a lasting and unbroken ceasefire in Gaza, and the revitalization of families in Gaza who must rebuild their lives from the ground up. We are steadfast in our commitment to supporting them for the long haul as they reconstruct their beautiful homeland.
We believe that together, we can achieve the seemingly unimaginable. By daring to think beyond the boundaries of our current existence, we can create a world where hope, resilience, and opportunity flourish. Join us on this transformative journey and be a part of something truly extraordinary.

Mission Statement:
Our mission is to empower single parents, displaced adults from foster care, and overlooked individuals in U.S. communities by bridging the gap where traditional assistance falls short. Through innovative fundraising and community-driven initiatives, we provide critical financial aid, educational opportunities, and sustainable development programs, including skills training and sustainable food systems within community clusters.
Additionally, we focus on boosting and supporting existing fundraisers for families in Gaza. By raising funds to support those in need, we contribute to efforts providing essential food, medical supplies, housing, education, and aid to orphans and individuals affected by war-related injuries. Our holistic approach fosters resilience and hope both locally and globally by addressing immediate needs and building sustainable futures.

History:
Our nonprofit is relatively young, having been created in May 2024. There was a need, and I decided to step in and fill the gap. It all started when a young man from Gaza approached me, asking if I could create a GiveButter campaign for him. I initially had no idea what GiveButter was, but after looking into it and discovering it was similar to GoFundMe, I agreed without hesitation. We launched his campaign on April 29th and raised $10,277 in three months.
This was the second campaign I started for someone who reached out. The first one was for a woman who asked if I could create a campaign for her pregnant sister and her two children. We used GoFundMe for this campaign, which was launched on April 8th, raising $33,874 in three months.
As more people reached out for support, I realized the need was far greater than I initially thought. I received requests from hundreds of people seeking assistance. In April, I maxed out my credit card and donated most of my income to families in Gaza. It quickly became clear that sustaining this operation on my part-time job's $17-per-hour wage was impossible.
Additionally, I learned that GiveButter was intended for use by nonprofits. With this knowledge and a determination to help, I invested what money I had into starting the Helping the People in Need Corporation, despite having no idea what lay ahead. This journey has brought me to where I am today.
